BLAISE APP LLC

COOKIE POLICY

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Blaise App LLC (“Blaise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit or use the Blaise platform at joinblaise.com and its associated dashboards (the “Platform”). This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy. You can manage your cookie preferences as described in Section 6 below.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to provide a better user experience, and to provide information to the website operator.

Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting (“first-party cookies”) or by a third party (“third-party cookies”). Cookies may remain on your device for the duration of your browser session (“session cookies”) or may persist after your browser is closed until they reach their expiration date (“persistent cookies”).

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons (clear GIFs or pixel tags), local storage, and session storage to collect information about your interactions with the Platform.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

The Platform uses the following categories of cookies:

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. They are set in response to actions you take on the Platform, such as logging in, setting your preferences, or filling in forms. Without these cookies, the Platform cannot operate properly.

3.3 Analytics Cookies

The information collected is aggregated and does not directly identify individual users. We use this information to improve Platform performance and user experience.

_vsVercel Speed InsightsMeasures page load times and web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals) to help us optimize Platform speed.Session

Blaise does not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar services). If Blaise adds third-party analytics providers in the future, this Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly.

3.4 Social Media Cookies

When you connect a social media account (such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube) to the Platform, the social media platform may set its own cookies on your device during the authentication and connection process. These cookies are controlled by the respective social media platform, not by Blaise.

Social media cookies may be used by those platforms to:

  • Authenticate your identity during the account connection process
  • Maintain the connection between your Blaise account and your social media account
  • Track your activity on their own platform in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies

Blaise does not control the data collected by social media platforms through their cookies. For information about how these platforms use cookies, please refer to their respective cookie and privacy policies. Disconnecting a social media account from the Platform through your account settings will end the active data connection, but you may need to manage cookies already set by those platforms through your browser settings.

3.5 Email Tracking Technologies

Blaise uses web beacons (also known as tracking pixels or clear GIFs) in some of the emails we send. A web beacon is a small, single-pixel transparent image embedded in an email that allows us to determine whether and when an email has been opened. When your email client loads the image, the server hosting that image records the open event.

We use email tracking technologies to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of our transactional and platform communications
  • Determine which types of communications are most useful to our users
  • Improve the content and timing of our emails

Email web beacons do not install software on your device and do not collect personal information beyond the fact that the email was opened, your approximate location (city/state level based on IP address), and basic device information (email client, operating system). You can prevent email tracking by configuring your email client to block remote images or by using a privacy-focused email client.

4. Local Storage and Session Storage

In addition to cookies, the Platform uses browser local storage and session storage to enhance your experience. These technologies store data directly in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers with each request.

  • Session Storage: Stores temporary data for your current browsing session, such as form inputs, navigation state, and unsaved draft content. This data is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab.
  • Local Storage: Stores persistent preferences and cached data to improve page load times, such as your dashboard configuration and recently viewed items. This data remains until you clear your browser data or we programmatically remove it.

Local storage and session storage are used only for Platform functionality and user experience improvements. We do not use local storage for tracking or advertising purposes.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Certain third-party services integrated into the Platform may set their own cookies on your device. Blaise does not control the cookies set by third parties. The third-party services currently integrated with the Platform that may set cookies include:

  • Stripe: Our payment processor may set cookies when you interact with payment features (escrow deposits, commission payouts, bank account connections). Stripe's cookies are used for fraud detection and payment session management. For more information, see the Stripe Cookie Policy at stripe.com/cookie-policy.
  • Social Media Platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube): When you connect a social media account to the Platform, the social media platform may set its own cookies during the authentication process. These cookies are governed by the respective platform's cookie and privacy policies.

Blaise does not allow third-party advertising networks to place cookies on the Platform. We do not participate in cross-site behavioral advertising, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options for managing cookies:

6.1 Cookie Consent Banner

When you first visit the Platform, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by visiting this page and clicking “Manage Cookie Preferences.”

Cookie preference management will be fully interactive in a future update. You can currently manage cookies through your browser settings or by using the Global Privacy Control signal.

6.2 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete some or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific or all websites
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set

Please note that blocking or deleting cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of the Platform. In particular, blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Platform.

For instructions on managing cookies in your browser, visit your browser's help documentation or allaboutcookies.org.

6.3 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Blaise honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out of non-essential cookies and any data sharing that may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). For more information about GPC, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.

6.4 Third-Party Opt-Out Tools

You may also manage cookies and tracking through third-party tools and browser extensions:

  • Privacy Badger: A browser extension from the Electronic Frontier Foundation that learns to block trackers based on your browsing activity. Available at privacybadger.org.
  • Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): Provides an opt-out tool for participating advertising networks at optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA): Provides an opt-out tool for interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info.

These tools and extensions are provided by third parties and are not affiliated with Blaise. We cannot guarantee their effectiveness or provide technical support for their use.

6.5 Do Not Track

Blaise does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals, as there is no industry-standard technology for honoring them. If a uniform standard is adopted, we will reassess this position. Blaise does honor GPC signals as described above.

7. Data Collected Through Cookies

The data collected through cookies and similar technologies may include:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location (city/state level)
  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Device type and screen resolution
  • Pages visited and features used within the Platform
  • Time and duration of your visit
  • Referring URL (how you arrived at the Platform)
  • Click patterns and scrolling behavior

This data is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Cookie data is not combined with personal information from your account profile for advertising purposes. For information about how we use your personal information generally, please see our Privacy Policy at joinblaise.com/privacy.

8. Cookie Retention

Cookies are retained for the periods specified in the cookie tables in Section 3. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or until you delete them through your browser settings.

When you withdraw consent for non-essential cookies or adjust your preferences through the cookie consent banner, Blaise will delete the affected cookies and cease setting new ones of that category. Strictly necessary cookies will continue to be set as they are required for Platform operation.

9. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, changes in technology, or changes in applicable law. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform (such as an updated cookie consent banner) and, where appropriate, by email.

We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently revised.
